ROZEL LIONS CHRISTMAS PARADE
December 8, 2013
In celebration of the Lions Christmas Parade, Pride is going to have a Quilt Block Contest. This will be our first year of doing this. The theme is "Christmas". The contest is open to all ages. The blocks become the property of the Rozel Pride. They will be made into a quilt and sold at the next Christmas Parade in 2014. We are in hopes to make this an annual event.
Rules: Each block must measure 12 1/2 inches by 12 1/2 inches. Block must be 100% cotton, pre-washed and treated to prevent bleeding when washed. Christmas scenes or Christmas colors. Any pattern can be used. No limit on the entries. No pre-quilted blocks. The blocks will be judged at the Rozel Christmas Party on December 8, 2013. We are looking forward to seeing what we come up with, and how nice our town quilt will look.
